R.I.P. Ted

I haven't loved everything that Rogers Communications has done. But Ted Rogers was a shrewd businessman with great forsight and was willing to take risks to be a part of what he saw as the future. There is also no comparison between Rogers and their chief rival (in most areas) Bell. With Rogers there was always a feel that, whether you liked their decisions or not, there was a real (and reasonable) person at the helm of Rogers. (Bell always feels like it's run by a renegade robot with a few wires loose). Whatever happens from here on out, no matter who they find to fill his job, Rogers will never be the same company.
