Another Round: the Periodic Call for Writers

Every so often I send out one of these - letting people know that publicbroadcasting.ca is, always, looking for writers.

So here are the basics:

What does it pay? Nothing at all, publicbroadcasting.ca costs money to produce but doesn't bring any in, there is nothing to pay people with.

What do you want me to write about? Anything you like - stuff you do, stuff your friends do, things you like, things you don't like - basically anything you care enough to write about ... It's primarily Canadian and about Canadian stuff but that's not a hard and fast rule, just a guideline. You write what you like, about anything you like, as often as you like.

So what are the hard and fast rules? First, be Canadian - or at least a landed immigrant, permanent resident or Canadian living abroad. Second, don't do anything that is actually against the law. Other than that...no rules, no editor, no deadlines.

Fair warning: believe it or not this is harder than it sounds - lots of people sign up, very few post at all, and most of those that do post only rarely.
