It has been said of the Great Lake Swimmers (I don't know by who but it's in the quotes on their Myspace):"Great Lake Swimmers explore the worlds of indie folk, roots music and alt-country pop, with a focus on lyrics and songwriting. For those of you who don't know, every week the sessions podcast features another band performing live in studio - which means these are recordings you won't find anywhere else and it's free.
