Last week Stephen Harper's Tories were heavily critisized for cutting the 4.6 million dollar travel assistance program for artists. This program was something of a cultural ambassadorship program, providing funds to allow Canadian artists to travel abroad to share their talents with the world.
Today the George Bush fan club was at it again axing a program that helped, among others, documentary and music producers market their products overseas. While rumors persist of a fall election and it now appears that the Liberals would win it convincingly. It remains to be seen if Stephen Dion would have the intestinal fortitude to reverse the damage (or even stand next to Harper on an elevator).
