NOW Blasts Polaris Nominations

I know, I know, I'll write about something else someday, but I have to share NOW's take on the Polaris nominations.

Some very valid points are brought up, especially about the lack of diversity. They even offer anti-Polaris nominations such as Alexisonfire, K-os and You Say Party! We Say Die!
However, they forgot Laura Peek and the Winning Hearts....

Until next time,
Cody

One of the problems with such awards is that there will never be agreement on who should win, or who should be nominated, but I can't think of a better way to do it than having the nation's music critics vote.

I completely agree, Justin.

Thought you might be interested to know that Laura Peek is actually on the jury in her role as Music Director of CKDU in Halifax. As such, she is not allowed to pick her own recordings.

Thanks for the discussion, friends of music. We're loving it.
