RVT: I Met the Walrus

Nominated for an Academy Award and winner of Best Animated Short at the American Film Institute, I Met the Walrus was directed by Josh Raskin and was produced by Jerry Levitan. It is based on an interview that Levitan had with John Lennon in 1969. The audio for the film is the actual recording of the interview (edited down to 5 minutes). Enjoy:

RVT: Levi MacDougall

Almost everyone knows who Levi MacDougall is. If you don't know the name he is the guy with the really bad cell phone service in Rogers Wireless ads (Don't believe the hype, Rogers service is not that great.) But Levi is more than a guy with bad cell phone service. He's also one of Toronto's better stand up comics.

p.s. It's also his birthday. Happy Birthday Levi

RVT Caribou

Accoring to their Myspace Blog the polaris nominated Caribou are about to take off for some international dates in "playing in the United States, Switzerland, Taiwan, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Germany, France, Belgium, England and Wales". After these dates Caribou will reportedly go on hiatus to write and record new music.

But, before all of that "Video Marsh, the team behind the beautiful video for Irene have made another great video for Hummingbird - off the 2007 Tour CD"

Awesome video for an awesome song! You can, by the way, download the MP3 for this in English and Mandarin! (seriously) at Stereogum. Obviously you can find more Immaculate Machine stuff at immaculatemachine.com/

We Are Wolves - Fight and Kiss

The new video from Montreal's We Are Wolves once again brings together the classic music video elements of models and water! If you're not a fan of models and water - it's still amazing dance music!

RVT: Dance Party of Newfoundland

I was lucky enough to see Dance Party of Newfoundland at the last night. In a just world they'd have a sketch show already.
