The Machetes who I first saw when they were opening for the Woodhands at their CD release are having a CD release of their own. Their debut EP will be officially unveiled at a free show at the Drake underground on December 7 along with "NXNE 08 DVD release, and a live recording of the whole darn thing!" Also on the stage will be Romoroto and Dylan Studebaker "the one and only punk magician" and some appropriate machete juggling.
