According to Now Magazine Toronto's Dirty Penny sounds a bit like this:"If Cake ever teamed up with Ween, Toronto's Dirty Penny would need to search for a new sound. The band combines Cake's rock raps with Ween's eccentric lyrics, creating a curious record that's completely obnoxious but fascinating at the same time."Personally I can think of alot of other comparisons that might work. On Bomb Ardier, for example, there are definite traces of Lou Reed. Coincidentally enough, they list amoung their influences the Velvet Underground, Ween and Bauhaus. Now you can decide for yourself.
